Obtaining government grants

Established businesses often forget that government grants are a genuine source of funding for some business activities.

While it’s true that there are some grants designed for start-up businesses, existing businesses may also apply for grants ranging from research and development funding to export promotional finance.

Grants are also available for specific industries and even specific regions.

To find out if your business is eligible for any grants, see www.business.gov.au or ask a grants specialist.

You make a great point, “grants are designed for start-up bussiness”. Whether you are a small or large business, you can take advantage of a government grant. That is what they are for.
