Concerned about morale and productivity in the workplace? Turn the music on

A new study has revealed that 87% of Australian small-medium businesses agree that music in the workplace increases staff morale and creates a better working environment.

“We all know that music has the power to move us. These findings offer further proof that playing music in your business is beneficial for the productivity of your employees and therefore directly helps your bottom line,” said Dan Rosen, Chief Executive Officer of PPCA.

85% of the 500 respondents believed that music helps to relieve tensions while 75% believe it increases team bonding and encourages productivity.

The study also revealed that 85% of Australian small-medium businesses agree that playing music creates a positive experience for customers that encourages sales and repeat business.
