ACCC releases franchise checklist
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has released a new checklist to help potential franchisers make an informed decision before signing on the dotted line.
The checklist helps potential franchisers understand contractual obligations, renewal and transfer options, occupancy costs and franchise territory.
A free copy of the checklist can be received by calling the ACCC Small Business Helpline, or by downloading a copy at the ACCC website.
