ACCC seeks submissions on Mobil takeover
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission is calling for comment on the proposed acquisition of Mobil Oil Australia Pty Ltd by Caltex Australia Limited.
The ACCC has questioned the takeover, believing it may reduce competition in the sector.
The ACCC invites further submissions from the market by September 16, 2009.
