Business confidence on the increase
Business confidence has improved substantially according to the National Australia Bank (NAB) business survey for the June quarter.
Business confidence jumped 20 index points to a level not seen since the start of the global financial crisis, while business conditions rose 11 index points.
NAB said overall, the survey pointed to a ‘significant’ rise in both near and long-term business expectations, spurred on by better trading and profit outcomes.
