Dell has launched the Australian Take Your Own Path (TYOP) campaign, which features Australian and international entrepreneurs and showcases howing using Dell technology helped make their business a success.

Take Your Own Path distinguishes entrepreneurs as “heroes”, the campaign celebrates these entrepreneurs with joint local, national and global exposure through a variety of advertising and PR initiatives, including billboards, print advertisements and broadcast efforts.

The campaign is also being integrated with Dell’s online marketing efforts, expanding on its Small and Medium Business Solutions Centre and engaging in conversations on social media fronts such as Twitter and Facebook. In addition, the TYOP heroes are sharing their success stories at Dell Essential Solutions seminars in Sydney and Melbourne and at various small business events worldwide.

Deborah Harrigan, general manager of Dell’s Small and Medium Business division in Australia and New Zealand says Dell was founded on entrepreneurism and has always acknowledged the courage of successful business owners.

“We understand the potential of small and medium businesses to transform the global economy and the Take Your Own Path campaign underscores Dell’s commitment to supporting individuals with a big idea.” she said.

The TYOP heroes have taken innovative approaches to building their businesses, with Dell technology being a key enabler of their success.

Kym Houden, founder and managing director of Sydney-based Task Retail Technology is one of Dell’s heroes.

“When we started our business we looked for partners from around the world that would actually deliver solutions. It’s crucial we have 100 per cent uptime and availability to customer data and that cannot be compromised in any way,” she said.

“We’re excited to be a part of this one-of-a-kind global campaign as a growing business based on the Northern Beaches in Sydney. It really is exhilarating.”
