Men lie at work to boost career
New research has found that more than a quarter of Australian men have lied in order to get ahead at work and boost their career.
The online survey of over 700 Australian men, conducted by the localised version of men’s website AskMen.com, found that 27 per cent had lied at work to improve their career prospects, 26 per cent had “sucked up” to their boss and 7 per cent had slept with a co-worker.
In addition to that, 51 percent admitted to pretending to like a colleague that they were not too fussed on.
The survey was designed to provides an Australian spin on topics such as work, dating, travel, fashion, gadgets and cars.
