Networking a speeding success!

Dynamic Business Networking

Dynamic Business and Regus teamed up to host a speed networking event for 100 people in Sydney last week.

It was a great success and we hope to make it a regular event.

Attendee and seasoned networker Iggy Pintado, said: “They say that you can tell what a person’s like within 30 seconds of meeting them face-to-face. With speed networking, you can tell in 60 seconds whether there’s a social or business connection that you want to take further.

“From the people I met at the event less than a week ago, I’ve already signed up with a business service that will make me more productive and efficient. I also have three follow-up leads for my online networking consulting services. Not a bad few hours’ value networking work by any measure.”

Matthew White from Regus, said: “Our aim was to provide those that attended with the opportunity to boost their business, the opportunity to meet everyone in the room. Although tiring and a little noisy, there was lots of talking, lots of meetings and lots of business cards being exchanged. It was fun too!

“We were delighted to provide our clients and guests of Dynamic Business with a structured and successful way to network.”

The event was held at Regus’ Alfred Street offices in Circular Quay with stunning views of the harbour.

  • Speed networking is efficient and allows you to cut to the chase in an environenment where this is accepted without question or lasting impression. When will you be conducting the Melbourne event?

  • Hi Jen, thanks for putting on the event. Really enjoyed the concept – will be interesting to see how many of these connections eventually become CLIVE customers. In many ways everyones elevator pitch is a great starting point for their CLIVEvideo web clips.

What a brilliant idea, will you consider hosting a similar event in Sydney South (St George or Sutherland) in the future ?
