The power of technology that is being literally placed in the hands of small business owners is truly amazing and powerful. But probably one of the biggest advances for small business that is due to improvement of technology (mainly due to fast internet connection and the collaboration tools that it has propagated) is being able to add offshore staff to a small business.
More than anything else this is delivering small business human resources that they never would have been able to afford but is now affordable. Similar to mobile phones, initially only accessible to those who could afford it, now accessible to everyone. Just as these new and increasingly powerful communication tools increase the productivity and professionalism of the small businessperson, adding staff delivers critical leverage in similar proportions.
Not only improving the customers experience but also allowing the small business person to increase capacity, flexibility, performance and profitability like never before.
