CBA kicks off 2012 small business forum program

Small business owners around the country are being invited to register for the Commonwealth Bank’s free annual forum program, which kicks off next month.

The program, in its fourth year, is again being led by industry experts Peter Switzer of the Switzer Group and CommSec’s chief economist Craig James.

This year, the forums will focus on teaching small business owners about using the digital space to grow their businesses.

Switzer will explore the social media boom of Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, and provide practical tips and advice on how to harness these new powers to generate larger business returns. He’ll also discuss how to take advantage of the shift to online retailing by giving customers more channels to buy from.

James will present an economic update including the trends that may affect businesses this year and what to expect in 2012, so SMB owners can stay ahead of the game.

Attendees will be given the opportunity to ask Switzer and James questions relevant to their businesses.

Seats are limited as breakfast is provided, so click here to reserve your spot.
