Trying to crack the fashion industry and wondering where to start? You can now ask accessories queen Samantha Wills.

Following an overwhelming amount of questions about her business and how she achieved her success, Wills has decided to give her fans a chance to learn from her experience. From Monday, she’ll be taking questions via the Samantha Wills Facebook Page and she’ll answer them in a video posted on the site later.

It’s the brand’s latest initiative in its quest to provide the ultimate customer experience. “We receive a lot of emails asking for business advice, predominantly from young women looking to carve their career by starting their own business. It is very important to me to be able to be able to answer everyone’s queries but due to the large amount I receive, it is very hard to reply to them all. Being able to answer digitally allows a more thorough platform and is the next best thing to sitting with the person one on one,” says jewellery designer Wills.

“I by no means claim to know it all but I feel I am able to bring a really honest view and first hand advice on starting a business and the highs and lows of that journey.”

Since its inception, the Samantha Wills brand has grown from a small Bondi Beach market stall to an international brand, with success in Australia, Japan, Singapore and the USA. The company now employs 40 staff, and has experienced a growth rate of 40 percent year on year over the past 24 months. And she’s still just 29.

Wills’ leap into the USA market now sees her living mainly in New York. In addition to the design, she actively works with the marketing and digital teams and the brand’s social media presence is extensive. A List celebrities such as Drew Barrymore, Kate Hudson, Eva Mendez, Pink, Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna, are now regularly seen wearing Samantha Wills pieces.

The opportunity to ask Wills questions will open on Monday 14 March until 20 March 2011, with the video style interview sharing the answers being posted in early April.

A cover star of Dynamic Business magazine in 2008, you can read a fresh interview with her in the May 2011 issue.
