Julia Ross resigns from the company she founded: Ross Human Directions

Julia Ross, the founder, Managing Director and Deputy Chairman of Ross Human Directions, has today tendered her resignation with the company consistent with the terms of the Takeover Bid Implementation Agreement with Chandler Macleod.

Julia RossIan Basser (Managing Director and CEO of CMG) has been appointed the Managing Director & CEO of RHD.

A thorough transition process has been implemented with the involvement of senior executives from both CMG and RHD, with Julia Ross agreeing to act as an advisor to the transition team (as required) as they begin to work together.

Ian Basser said: “Julia has provided every possible assistance to us to ensure we have a thorough understanding of the RHD business, clients and people. Her continued availability to us as we begin the transition process will be invaluable.

“Importantly, we see this as an opportunity to bring together two successful companies to provide an even greater level of service to our clients. As such, we have no immediate plans to make any changes to the brands under the RHD or CMG umbrellas as they have very high awareness in their respective markets,” he said.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for all concerned as the Chandler Macleod and Ross Human Directions businesses are highly complementary and there is very little overlap in our respective specialisations. We will be able to learn a lot from the strengths of both businesses and we are very excited about the depth and breadth of services we will now be able to provide to clients, candidates and contractors of both businesses.

“As we have begun to work with the RHD team, it is clear that we have a lot in common, including our desire to create organisations where talented people can build great careers. Through the transition, we’ll be ensuring the people in both organisations are kept abreast of any developments, as well as the opportunities they will have to grow and to develop new skills as a result of this,” Mr Basser said.
